ABOUT THE ARTIST

With illustrations inspired by a childhood spent reading comics, Shane Johnson has put his versatility of style to work for national clients, advertising agencies, publishers and multimedia developers throughout the country and abroad.

Shane's work spans a variety of subjects: from costumed superheroes to real life historical figures, original character designs, and established licensed characters. 

Shane currently resides with his wife and daughter in Ellensburg, Washington.

in 2019 shane joined Central Washington University’s Department of Art and Design as a Guest Lecturer, teaching Illustration courses in the BA and BFA Graphic Design program.
